Pinot Gris 19
Acacia flowers, wet river stones and freshly cut pink lady apples combine with a suggestion of short crust pastry to provide an expressively aromatic and intriguing nose. These vibrant fruit characters carry through to the palate where they are joined by spiced pear, honeydew melon and apricot. Bright acidity is delicately balanced by just a touch of residual sugar, ensuring a generous length of flavour.
Harvested on the 3rd of April 2019. Our Pinot Gris was destemmed and crushed before being pressed to stainless steel tanks for settling. Fermented with yeast selected to retain varietal expression. Fermentation stopped with a small amount of residual sugar.
